Irish Pub Design
MJ O’Connor’s, is located next to the picturesque canal in Leitrim village. This newly refurbished traditional Irish pub radiates warmth and character. At its heart is a central island bar, crafted from rich, dark wood that was created to form cosy snug areas throughout the bar.
Other features of this Irish Pub Design include traditional style tongue and groove wall-panelling, charming floral wallpaper and a mix of old photographs, local memorabilia, and antique mirrors that celebrate the village’s heritage.
The flooring is a mix of salvaged floorboards and rustic quarry tiles, adding to the pub’s authentic charm. A stone fireplace serves as a focal point, especially during the colder months.
Brass accents, such as beer taps and light fixtures, contribute to the authentic pub feel. Soft, ambient lighting from traditional lantern-style fixtures and candle sconces creates a welcoming glow. The bar is stocked with a wide selection of Irish whiskeys, local beers, and craft ales, all displayed behind the bar on wooden shelves.
