The Amethyst Bar is located in Keel, Achill Island near the picturesque Keel Beach. The rural setting and history of the site are represented in the traditional pub interior that includes large timber beams, timber clad posts with iron strappings and ornate cast iron posts. The venue has several bars and a large restaurant area on the first floor that is popular with large groups of tourists and for local events.
